Worksop 1’s were back home in challenging conditions faced West Bridgeford 2’s looking to build on last week’s win, with early exchanges fairly even, Worksop were first to strike through forward Chloe, but West Bridgeford wasted no time in equalising from a penalty corner. Worksop again reponsed from Chloe again, and just before the break following a strong run from Chloe she crossed for fellow forward CJ to calmly slap home.
Worksop began the second half knowing there was still much work to do, so Worksop came out flying with Captain Tracy making her first appearance since Christmas, taking no time to get her name on the scoresheet, and quickly adding another. Worksop were firmly on top and with shots flying in on West Bridgeford goal Lisa followed in to add a sixth. With the game all but done West Bridgeford did managed to pull one back through a penalty flick, and another via a deflection, but they were just a consolation with the final score 6-3. The player of the match went to forward Chloe.
