With great sadness Worksop ladies hockey club announce the passing of former first goalkeeper and England Hockey international Maggie Burrows . Maggie joined Worksop in the early 80’s quickly becoming an important member of the club, and as a P.E teacher at Valley comprehensive school Maggie inspired future players on and off the pitch. In life after hockey and teaching Maggie enjoyed playing golf and keeping active. Worksop ladies hockey club send their deepest condolences to Maggie’s loved ones.
