Worksop 1’s travelled to Southwell to play their last game before the Christmas break, and with eight wins already on the board, Worksop were hoping to finish the year strong. Worksop soon took control, creating several chances only to be denied by some fine goalkeeping.
In the second half, Worksop continued to press, forcing Southwell’s defence into two goal line clearances, but despite the pressure, Worksop would be left frustrated, having to settle for a goaless draw. The player of the match went to Sarah Bagshaw.
