Worksop 1’s were back home this week looking to right a wrong. In the first game of the season, Worksop suffered their only defeat so far to Redhill. Now Redhill was on Worksop’s turf, and Worksop were determined to be ruthless. It didn’t take long for Worksop to open the scoring through Chloe Gilpin, followed by a second from Gemma Matthews.

Even with a two goal advantage, Worksop started the second half knowing the job was not done. Worksop put Redhill under pressure forcing mistakes, and it didn’t take long for Chloe Gilpin to capitalise, scoring Worksop’s third. Redhill kept battling and, thanks to a deflection, did finally breach Worksop’s defence, but that was to be their only highlight as Worksop added a fourth through Chloe Gilpin. The player of the match went to hat-trick hero Chloe Gilpin.
