Worksop 1’s travelled to West Bridgeford looking for their first win of the season, but it was to the home side that looked more likely in early exchanges, forcing several penalty corners. After surviving the early pressure, Worksop grew into the game, and following some slick passing Tracy Steeple fired into the top corner to give Worksop an half time led.

Soon after following a shot from Lisa Sankey, which was saved on the line, Chloe Gilpin forced the ball home, giving Worksop breathing room. With the match coming to an end, Chloe Gilpin went on a solo run through the West Bridgeford defence to finish her hat-trick and sealing an 4-0 for Worksop. The player of the match went to hat-trick hero Chloe Gilpin.
