A tough game today for the Worksop 2’s against Boots 5’s. Boots came out strong scoring 1 in the first half, and a further 2 in the second, leaving the final score 3-0.
Another excellent effort from our newer members Jen and Bex, who battled hard in the midfield, getting in some good tackles. We had some good attacking runs but it was mostly a very defensive game for Worksop. Some amazing saves from our keeper Don, who rewarded herself with a little lay down in the second half….She was soon up again though, fending off several more goals. Overall, a good game against a really experienced Boots team. Well done Worksop! Lass of the grass this week is shared by Emily and Vicky.
